2026 Winter Art Classes

Watercolor Classes taught by Glenda will be offered at Southeast Community College Houck Continuing Education Center, 301 S. 68th St. Place in Lincoln, Nebraska. For  registration information, contact Southeast Community College:

Painting Skies and Clouds with Watercolor – Saturday, February 21, 9:00 a.m. – 12 noon 
Sharpen your skills and learn techniques for painting a variety of skies and clouds, including sunrises, sunsets, rainy days, etc., with watercolor. The class will provide demonstrations and time to practice painting.  Adults and children 5th grade and above at all skill levels are welcome.

Painting Trees in Watercolor – Saturday, February 28, 9:00 a.m. – 12 noon  Learn various techniques for painting various kinds of trees and foliage in watercolor. The workshop will provide demonstrations and time to practice painting. Students should have had at least an introductory watercolor class.  Adults and youth 5th grade and above are welcome.

Watercolor Supplies for classes at Southeast Community College: 
10-12 sheets of 9 x 12” 140 lb. watercolor paper, such as Strathmore or Canson, a Prang or Yarka watercolor painting kit, a mixing tray/palette, one or two No. 8 or 10 round watercolor brushes (plus other brushes you may already have), paper towels, and a plastic water container.
